Deputy Director of the Thailand International Trade Negotiation Department, Bunika Jamsai, Test Drives OMODA
C5 EV and Offers High Praise

Recently, a senior delegation from OMODA was invited to the Thailand Ministry of Commerce Government Office for a meeting with Bunika Jamsai, the Deputy Director of the Thailand International Trade Negotiation Department. The discussion centered around OMODA's new energy strategy in Thailand and future plans, fostering a deep and friendly exchange.

OMODA's inaugural all-electric model, the OMODA C5 EV, has garnered attention from the Thai government. At a media test drive and evaluation event held on the same day, Bunika Jamsai personally experienced the new vehicle's various features and highly endorsed the OMODA C5 EV. This follows commendations from other Southeast Asian leaders, including Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Minister of Economic Coordination Airlangga Hartarto, and Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz, making it yet another high-level endorsement from a Southeast Asian government official.

Thailand, as a key economy within ASEAN, boasts a vast market and relatively low production costs. Moreover, the government's proactive implementation of various incentive policies has attracted an increasing number of automakers to invest in Thailand, especially in the intelligent electric vehicle sector, effectively meeting local consumer demands. The exchange between the International Trade Negotiation Department and new energy vehicle companies like OMODA, focusing on sustainable development, is also expected to positively drive the local automotive industry's upgrade and transformation, promoting green and low-carbon transportation in Thailand.

To better serve Thai consumers, OMODA plans to further enhance its localized operation system in Thailand. This encompasses rejuvenation across brand, product, channel, marketing, and services. The plan includes opening 30 official sales and service centers to continue tapping into the potential of the Thai market.

It is reported that OMODA will also hold a launch event in Thailand on March 20, revealing more about its development strategies and operational plans in Thailand. The OMODA C5 EV, already receiving accolades from leaders of multiple countries, will concurrently make its market debut.

Previously in January, this new energy model underwent a comprehensive road test covering over 30,000 kilometers in Thailand. Starting from Chiang Rai in the far north, passing through cities and regions like Tak, Ratchaburi, Pattaya, and finally arriving in Pattani in the south. The OMODA E5 demonstrated its comprehensive strength and reliability across diverse driving scenarios in Thailand. Following the road test, over 30 media outlets were invited for test drives in January and February, where the model received high acclaim on its first exposure. On March 1, a dealer MOU signing ceremony was completed at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Bangkok. With the launch of this future-leading new model, Thai consumers can expect more surprises.
